Cooking: the chemistry of your kitchen

So, I am sure at least one of you have cooked once but do you know why things cook? Cooking is chemistry if you heat something up or add something to something else it changes, in so many ways. For example, spaghetti bolognaise who eat spaghetti bolognaise with all the ingredients raw?! But if you cook it all the ingredients heat up and become edible, and if you don't know the concept of chemistry is to change something and see how it reacts.
