The first picture of a black hole and how they got it

Updated: Aug 30, 2021

A few years ago some how, scientists took a picture of a black hole and shared it with the world. Here's how they did it.

It all started in 2019, When Shepherd Doeleman a computer scientist constructed the event horizon telescope, A telescope so big it uses eight radio telescopes, each and every one of the telescopes have to be on and working or It will fail miserably. There is a documentary written on black holes on Netflix, and lucky for us includes information on the event horizon telescope. Here is the link: https://www.netflix.com/au/title/81343342.

The event horizon telescope workers are from all over the globe, mainly because there are eight different telescopes in different countries. They all worked very hard until the last second, and had constant pressure on themselves and I thank them for there amazing discovery and I hope you do to.
